Visitor Advisory – May 13, 2021

The Central Ohio Fire Museum and Learning Center is open! We will continue to follow the guidelines mandated by the Ohio Department of Health until they expire on June 2, 2021.  After June 2, masks will no longer be required to enter the museum. Our daily operating schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm.  Museum guests do not need to make an appointment to visit the museum. Scheduled group tours can be arranged by calling 614-464-4004. For generations, firefighters have risked their lives to help their communities in the time of need. Some have paid the ultimate price by dying in the line of duty.

The Central Ohio Fire Museum & Learning Center pays tribute to our firefighters, past present and future, and the rich legacy they have left us. Through a collection of hand-drawn, horse-drawn and motorized fire apparatus, visitors can retrace the steps of firefighters and learn about their day-to-day lives in the engine house.

A great place of history and recognition to the work of firefighters. Also, a good review offered on fire safety. Excellent place to visit!

I just can’t recommend enough a visit to the Central Ohio Fire Museum. We had a great time learning fire safety and history. Our girls (age 3 1/2yo, 7yo, & 12yo) just sat for almost an HOUR telling their dad all they learned today. And now they are in their bedroom practicing what to do if there is a fire! What a wonderful resource right here close to home, the cost was really reasonable, and the firemen were amazing with the kids!
