A great place of history and recognition to the work of firefighters. Also, a good review offered on fire safety. Excellent place to visit!
I just can’t recommend enough a visit to the Central Ohio Fire Museum. We had a great time learning fire safety and history. Our girls (age 3 1/2yo, 7yo, & 12yo) just sat for almost an HOUR telling their dad all they learned today. And now they are in their bedroom practicing what to do if there is a fire! What a wonderful resource right here close to home, the cost was really reasonable, and the firemen were amazing with the kids!
It was my first trip there and it was very educational, learning how hard the men and horses worked so efficiently for any emergency call.I’m very pleased also for the other info , in case of a fire in our day homes.
We loved our visit this morning! I came with a few nannies and our nanny kids. The kids really enjoyed the play area, and Tony was so great with them sharing so much history. He was great with the kids and they were all under 5. He was so patient with them (especially with the 5-year-old girl in our group that had 500 questions) and shared a lot of history. I can’t wait to bring my older nanny kids when school is out. The 3-year-old asked if we could go again today and hasn’t stopped talking about it. Very cool experience! Thank you!
Took grandson there with a friend today. Firemen very friendly. The place is pretty interesting!
Thanks for the informative tour and hands-on play area. We had a great afternoon!
Not the first time I was there. First time for my hubby, our chief, excellent tour given. Thanks for all of the great information.
Great trip for history lovers, car fans, and of course kids. Private tour includes the history of the vehicles, how the fire station operated in the past and present. Firefighter Jason was a great guide. The restored Model T 1915 fire truck was the jewel in the crown in my opinion if you love old cars and admired restoration work.
This is a wonderful place full of great items to help people understand the history of firefighting. I would go again and again. Lt. Jason was terrific.
Proof that size doesn’t matter.. it’s all in the presentation & this is a fine job here.. nice personal home feeling.. (retired fireman) Bill, our guide, was awesome.. he had a lot of info & answered every question my dad had..
